Result Figure 1: The biggest priority for drinking water The Figure 1 illustrates the effect of quality, cost, availability and smell to drinking water habits of overseas students in Australia and their home countries. The majority of students agreed that the quality of water was the most important element for drinking water regardless in Australia or home countries. When international students came to Australia, they were also less care about the quality of water as they were in their own countries. There was 74% of respondents said that they considered about quality of water in their own countries. There was 24% and 12% of the sample paying attention about availability and cost respectively in Australia.
